Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision Auckland has moved to Level 2, Radio New Zealand House, 171 Hobson St.

Our Auckland branch is currently closed to the public while we refurbish the library and viewing spaces in our new premises.

We are excited to bring our specialist moving image and sound staff together on the same premises, and look forward to welcoming you to our new space soon.

In the meantime, our audio preservation activities are ongoing at Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision Auckland, and we continue to present a range of public progammes relating to moving image history at various venues around Auckland. Contact us if you are interested in hosting a screening.

We present screenings of archival material around the Auckland region, in partnerships with cultural organisations and community groups. Our regular programmes include a free monthly screening at AUT, and a regularly changing presentation, Viewfinder, at Auckland Central Library.

To be first to know about upcoming screenings please sign up for our e-newsletter or check our current event listings online.

If you would like to organise a screening for your group please contact us.
