INTERTITLE: “2500 Territorials march into Christchurch”. Brass band leading soldiers round corner on street with tram lines. Spectators watch territorials march towards camera led by mounted officers and NCO’s, Territorials in uniform and carrying rifles march past. - Cars, cyclists and horse drawn carts pass by.

Territorials continue march past, officers and men. Bystanders watching parade- women and boy, [corner of Hagley Park]. Territorials on foot, officer on horseback march back into camera view. Continuous stream of soldiers and band, horse drawn wagon carrying reels [field telephone wire].
