The Reserve Bank has said it is unlikely to cut interest rates despite pressure caused by overseas rates cuts such as in the United States.

At least 60,000 Palestinians living under siege in Gaza broke through the barricades between their land and Egypt today after militants blew holes through the barricade. The Palestinians who broke through went shopping to buy goods they have been unable to access since the barricade went up.
