Banks and schools have joined doctors in voicing concerns about the
power of Social Welfare to obtain confidential records and information.
The Medical Association has said that doctors are being forced to
provide confidential records to the Department of Social Welfare.i/v
with Alistair Scott (Medical Association), Nadia Tolemach, (Banking
Ombudsman), John Flemimg (Principal's Association). Then live i/v with
Grant Liddell from Otago University about the nature of privacy in New
Zealand.
