GEBBIE, Roy

Roy Gebbie talks about the experiences of an Anti Tank regiment at
Toobruk.

During the period a few days prior to the recording of this talk the
Anti Tank regiment had met with a fair amount of success. Their
engagements could be compared to a boy with a pea shooter approaching a
traction engine. One troop had no less than thirty enemy tanks in their
bag.

The regiments one worry was the forth-coming Christmas and it looked as
though "Bully Beef", in one of its many disguises, was to play a
big part for Christmas dinner.
