A message to New Zealand from H. Shaw, the Chief Engineer of RMS ""Empress of Japan"", a passenger liner of the Canadian Pacific line, which was used as a troop transport ship for the 3rd Echelon of 2NZEF.
He sends a message to New Zealand radio listeners paying tribute to them and their men, who he says he has been privileged to carry to the war.
