Te Aroha (Ship)

A two-part documentary. Te Aroha is the last of the wooden coastal ships that once trudged between New Zealand ports. It has been converted by skipper Mike Pigneguy and his wife Dee to a passenger cruise ship. In March 1988 they brought her north from Auckland on a sentimental pilgrimage to the tiny settlement of Totara North where she was launched 79 years previously.
