'An affair of Stockwhips' by Bill Blackadder.

A talk about a man, Herbert, of the High Country of the South Island, who was a great horseman and was also good with the stockwhip, driving cattle. William (Bill) Blackadder tales a tale about Herbert having a dispute about travelling with his cattle through the land of a man named Sandy. The dispute turned into a fight, and eventually came to court. Sandy lost the case, and Herbert was allowed to travel through the land. Eventually the two men ended up as friends.
