An interview with Mr Brian Ingles, the man in charge of the boat's construction, reveals the materials and design of the Otto trawler which took 18 months to build and will house a 96 horse power diesel engine. The trawler is expected to have a working life span of 60-70 years. The Mayor of Dunedin Mr Anderson, the owner of the boat Mr [Lecane] and the Reverend [Jefferies] say a few words before [Miss Wilman] launches the boats with champagne.
