A two-part Spectrum documentary.

Tom Johnson and Ray Clarke were two of the many miners who proved there was gold up the Louis Creek on the Howard goldfields, during the depression of the 1930's.

Fifty years later they return to the Howard in the Upper Buller district, accompanied by Jack Perkins, to recollect a unique way of life.
