Alwyn Owen accompanies Doctor Bruce Gregory on his rounds. His practice stretches from Kaitaia to the Northern most tip of the country.

He speaks about the travel required for his job, and the rural communities he visits. The patients they see during his rounds are included in the interview, they speak about their lives and what is ailing them. A lot of Gregory's patients are retired, and are often more lonely than sick.

Gregory also speaks about his kōauau (Māori flute), made of bird bone. He demonstrates by playing Pokarekare Ana [or a tune very similar.]

Dr Bruce Gregory later became MP for Northern Māori.
