1. An ANZAC day service commemorated by Auckland citizens, which includes a parade in the presence of the Prince and Princess of Wales on 25 April 1983. Introduced and presented by Bill Leathwick.

2. An interview with Herb Alpert about his new song 'Rise' which is the title of his new album. He says he co-produced the album with his nephew. Recorded 4 December 1979.

3. Wayne Mowatt of the 'Tonight Show' interviews Freddy Fender, who was involved in entertaining for ten years before he had his major hit 'Wasted Days and Wasted Nights', in 1959. He came from a working-class background, and as a Mexican-American, he has faced a lot of prejudice throughout his life. He talks about his early days working in bars, and mentions that he often still sings in Spanish. He talks about country music and the interest in New Zealand in this music. For relaxation, he likes to ride motorbikes, He owns a Harley Davidson, a 1948 Indian bike, and a Pontiac. Recorded in the 1980s.

4. Wayne Mowatt interviews Kim Hart in Washington, about her career in the United States. She has appeared on the 'Dinah Shore Show', and is to tour Canada along with Rob Guest, Howard Morrison, Tina Cross, Derek Metzger, and Trevor Maxwell.
