Alwyn Owen presents the Spectrum documentary 'Convoy is to Scatter', in which he talks with Frank Glass about his experiences during World War II.
For Frank Glass, it has been a full life - two years on the notorious naval training ship HMS Mercury, followed by war service in destroyers and minesweepers.

Then came posting to a corvette and the horrors of convoy PQ17, decimated by German "wolf-pack" submarines in one of the cruelest theatres of war - the Arctic Convoy route.
