Sir Howard Morrison is one of the best known names in the New Zealand entertainment business. He has also worked in the Māori Affairs department and at one time was its youth development officer. His father was a very strong influence in his life. When city boy Howard Morrison moved to Ruatahuna when he was ten, he was strapped by teachers for practising his Maori language in the playground. He talks about his life to Neville Glasgow.
