A raw interview with Billy Wells.

Jim Sullivan interviews eighty year old Billy Wells, who was born in the Opihi school house in 1903. His family moved to Pleasant Point, South Canterbury, when he was one month old. He remembers during those childhood years, the town was more populated with shops, and had two hotels.

He recalls his education at primary and secondary schools in Pleasant Point. He also speaks about being an apprentice blacksmith, farm work, and twenty years of driving the school bus.
