John Campbell talks to veteran journalist Pat Booth.

They discuss the ethics of jounalism and the cases he has been involved in inlcuding the pardon of Arthur Allan Thomas for the murders of Harvey and Jeanette Crewe.

He also discusses also the case of a Polynesian man in Auckland arrested and charged for stealing a plastic comb from the factory where he worked. He praises the work of young reporter Donna Chisholm in covering this case.

Some discussion of Booth's childhood and the state of New Zealand society and media.
