Mulgrew, Peter, Speaker/Kaikōrero

Short interviews with mountaineers Peter Mulgrew and Edmund Hillary on their return from their Makalu expedition in the Himalayas in 1961.
Peter Mulgrew is interviewed in the ambulance which took him from the airport.
He talks about altitude sickness and how it has affected him.
Sir Edmund says it was a long expedition, which saw them in the mountains for 10 months.
He says the Abominable Snowman (which they were investigating) is definitely a local myth, based on sightings of rare animals such as the blue bear.
