Singer, long-time entertainer, and World War II soldier, Les Andrews, and Italian opera singer Romano Dragoni are re-united after 61 years. In this joint interview, they tell the story of how, as a soldier on the run in Italy, Les met Romano (then about 12 years old) who took him home for food. Les sang "Come Back to Sorrento", which Romano never forgot.

They were re-united at Christchurch Airport on the morning of this 'In Touch With New Zealand' interview.
