Smythe - the Headmaster Saint Stephens School and Mr B. Biggs - a Lecturer of Māori Language at Auckland University College. Professor Ralph Piddington chairs the discussion.

The group discuss the differences between public and Māori schools; the setup of schools; health training and home craft training; amenities in isolated schools; language problems; mission schools; the prevalence of early leavers amongst Māori students; and the prohibition of Māori language in schools.
