The instalment for 14 May focuses on the appointment of Sir Francis Henry Dillon Bell to the position of Prime Minister. He was the first New Zealand-born Prime Minister, and took office on 14 May 1925.

He served as Prime Minister of New Zealand for sixteen days - from 14 May through to 30 May 1925, after the death of William Massey.
