Gold Series No. 12 - This recording contains a childrens story entitled "Fools Rock". It was written by Pauline Cartwright and read by Bernard Kearns.

"Old Jimmy tells the story of Fools Rock, where two miners - Joe and Springer - hide their gold after each day's mining. Non one ever sees them do this, for they've worked out a pulley system with a bucket on some rope to get water for their cradle, and they use checking the rope each night to hide the fact that they're really depositing their gold, wrapped up in a bit of cloth. When the river floods, it takes away all their treasure, and Jimmy ends up beginning a new yarn, about two fellows with a diving bell who try to get the gold."
