Tāwera is a breakfast current affairs programme on Radio Waatea. It is delivered in te reo Māori and broadcasts every weekday morning – although only the Friday broadcast is archived. 2. April Papuni: The 'Ngati' Awards.

3. Ani Pahuru: Mining.

4. Leonie Matoe: PHA Conference and her presentation from Te Hotu Manawa Māori.

5. Pierre Lyndon: Te Matatini vs Cricket World Cup.

6. Mania Clark: Hakinakina - The Silver Ferns lose to the Australians. Is it time for Van Dyk to hang up her boots?
