[Māori Programme - Launch of book by Leo Fowler]

Wiremu Kerekere presents a programme about author and retired broadcaster Leo Fowler, who has written a book about the carved wharenui at Manutūke, Te Mana o Tūranga.

In this programme highlights are presented from the launch of the book . Leo Fowler spent twenty years researching this history of Te Mana o Tūranga.

Mr Mervyn Howell, Gisborne District Committee Chairman of the NZ Historic Places Trust speaks and is interviewed by Bruce Burn.
