"Maioha" is a project undertaken by the Freemans Bay branch of the NZ Māori Women's Welfare League during 1993, to mark the United Nations Year of Indigenous Peoples and also the centenary of women's suffrage in Aotearoa.

Sixteen Māori women have been interviewd regarding their vision aspirations and success in whatever field of endeavour they have chosen.

This interview is with Dame Miraka Szaszy of Tai Tokerau, an educationalist and former president of the NZ Māori Women's Welfare League.
