Magazine Programme about Pacific people.

Former Governor General of New Zealand, Sir Paul Reeves will head the
review of the FIJI Constitution. It has been confirmed by Foreign Minister
Phillip Abole who is also the head of the Fiji Parliamentry Constitution Review
Committee. This takes place in June.

The Youth Law Project in Victoria Street, Auckland provides free legal service
for people under the age of twenty five.
Spokesperson Clare Trainor says they assist young people on a wide range of
issues, but it seems that the Pacific Island community is not aware that they can
get help from the community law centre.

A study on how RAPE surviors are treated by police and court procedures is being
carried out in Auckland. Māori and Pacific Island women were interviewed as part
of the project. The study is connected to the Criminology Department at Victoria

- The 1995 Pacifika Fashion show was a great success at the Auckland Town
Hall. Many people were turned away at the door. The traditional section was won
by a young student at UNITEC Susan Tamaki., she speaks with Sam Thompson
about her win.
