Manu Ariki Cultural Festival
Silivelia Kelemete is a 7th form student at New Plymouth Girls High School. Silivelia represents the Solomon Isands and the Tokelau Islands from where she originally comes from and she is a member of the Whānau Te Reo Cultural Club. She performs a couple of items with the support of Te Whānau Te Reo Culture Club.

- Tokelau traditional song, ‘Te ‘oe o te vaka ka tele ki moana’ performed by Silivelia Kelemete and Te Whānau Reo Culture Club
- Traditional Tokelau song, ‘Analisi nua’ performed by Silivelia Kelemete and Te Whānau Te Reo Culture Club
The Cook Islands Culture Group from Porirua, Lower Hutt and Wellington under the direction of Mr Whai Tutere. Explains the items to be performed.
- Whaikōrero Kuki Airini and introduction in Cook Island Māori before introducing the items to be performed by the Cook Island’s Culture Group
- Demonstration of ‘Cook Island international drumming’ which is performed by the males of the group.
- ‘Enua manu e’ action song (hula) performed by the girls of the group. The song has been composed about the first island created by God in the Cook Islands.
- Cook Island song, ‘I tū te’ai rā’ [?] with the younger girls of the troupe perform hula (action song)
