Waretini, Dean

Today is Selwyn Murupaenga's last broadcast and whilst he brooded over
how his last programme might take place, knowing full well that there was
still a lot of kōrero, waiata, tears, karakia, poems, incantations, and other human experiences still in the "puna", he decided on a programme that was played last year.

It opens with Don Selwyn, Māori advisor during the making of the television series "Governor", followed by an attempt by an elder to enter the domain of an entrepreneur, promoting a young pop singer in the world of entertainment.

- Kaikōrero : Don Selwyn.

- Kaikōrero : George Tait/Dean Waretini.

Selwyn acknowledges everyone who has supported him throughout his time with Radio New Zealand as a presenter and to all those people who have contributed to the many programmes he has presented.
Ngā mihi whānui kia koutou katoa.

- Waiata : Pokarekare ana / Dean Waretini.
