Te puna wai kōrero

Eva Rickard continues with her kōrero about Raglan, her work and her
contribution to the community of Raglan, the future of the Matakite Movement,
and a new Māori political party.

Eva was in a deputisation of Māori land owners which met the Minister of Lands
Mr.Ven Young to contest a goverment proposal that her people pay $61,00.00's
for the return of Māori land, "the Raglan Golf Course". She spoke out strongly
agaist any payment being made for the land which she considered should be
invested back to the people of Tainui Owhiro and that the Goverment pay
compensation to the Raglan Golf Club.
