Whakamana Tūranga.
It's 5am in the morning in Tūranga-nui-a-Kiwa and it is the last day of 1990, quite significant to the people of the Tairāwhiti area. The tauihu Whakamana o Tūranga is being blessed by a Ringatū minister, after which the sculpture will be handed over to the Gisborne County Council.
