Kokako: International Māori Briar Grace Smith. In the past few years, Briar has had her plays performed in Canada and Australia and this September, her one-woman play, 'Ngā pou wahine', will be performed at the Sydney Opera House as part of the 'Festival of Dreaming'. Briar joins us now.
Music : Tahu Matheson is the eldest son of conductor John Matheson of Ngāi Tahu. Tahu was born in London and began studying piano in Germany. He's currently studying at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. His New Zealand debut was at last year's International Festival of Arts where he gave the world premier performance of Edwin Carr's Ten Concert Studies written for Tahu.
