An exposition, the second of its kind highlighting Māori Achievement gets underway at Auckland's Aotea Centre and Aotea Square next Thursday.
The community event first held in 1995 is expected to be attended by many thousands of people - there were more than forty-thousand two years ago.
Spearheaded by AIT - Auckland Institute of Technology, the exposition manager is May Paki-Slater who joins us now...

We were saddened this week to learn of the destruction by fire of the Dining Room of the Arai Te Uru Marae in Dunedin.
Muru Wlters was one of the people who established the urban Marae named after the Waka - Arai Te Uru - and its connection with Moeraki and the boulders there.
