Scientists have been researching the growth and reproduction of the
seaweed called karengo, as part of a project to determine its economic
potential. Botanist Dr Charles O'Kelly talks about the export potential
as a high quality food to Japan. He explains the cultivation, and
processing of karengo, and the difference from this weed to other
seaweeds.
