TE URUROA FLAVELL: Māori Party MP for Waiariki talks with Dale as he starts his 'Road Show', a tour around his Electoral Area to talk to voters, hear their thoughts, to catch-up and to discuss and explain any issues they are unfamiliar with and to get an idea of their performance . This is a Māori Party Commitment that is carried out about three times a year by their MPs.
Te Ururoa tells Dale about the towns he has visited on this round and what people and his supporters are saying.

HON. PHIL GOFF: MP, Leader of the Labour Party starts off talking about Tariana Turia's criticism of the Labour Party and the Super City Bill legislation being passed through Parliament under urgency by the National government. Phil says the Māori Party did not resist the legislation that was against Māori seats on the Super City Council. Phil also talks about Christine Rankin's statements that Child Abuse was a Māori problem and now it has come out that Tariana was on the Committee that appointed Christine onto the Family Commission.
Dale brings up the issue of the National Party wanting to get rid of the Māori Parliamentary Seats so Mita Ririnui, Labour list MP is calling for Māori Seats to be entrenched.
Phil is also still waiting for the National Party to announce the Super City Transition Agency - Rodney Hyde called a press conference yesterday for 2 O'clock to announce the names of the Commissioners and then suddenly the press conference is cancelled. Phil believes it's because National got itself into so much hot water over the utterly inappropriate appointment of Christine Rankin to the Families Commission that they are holding fire on announcing a Super City Transition Agency so it doesn't look like a "For business, by business" interests deal.

GLEN MACKAY: Māori Responsiveness Strategy Advisor to the New Zealand Police, talks with Dale this week about what the Police role will be during the Protest Hikoi on Monday the 25th May, next week. Marchers will converging on Downtown Auckland City from all points of the compass, and then marching en-mass up Queen Street to Aotea Square. Glenn is unsure at this stage who or what official representation there will be present. An invitation has gone out to the Prime Minister to attend in Aotea Square but no reply as yet. Glenn reiterated this is a Peaceful Protest and if any Police staff ask anyone to do something, please oblige for safety's sake.
