TE KAHOE WANO: Talks with Dale about the Hikoi protest yesterday in Auckland over the non-representation of Māori in the future Super City Council. They also talk about the NRL competition.

HON. PHIL GOFF: MP, Leader of the Labour Party talks with Dale about the Hikoi yesterday and says some Labour MPs joined the Hikoi too.
They also talk about the upcoming Budget about to be unveiled by the National government and we need unemployment numbers to decline, the new Labour Party, Māori talent, Kelvin Davis was discussed.
Phil also says the Māori Party seemed against the kaupapa of the Hikoi because they wanted to rush the Super City Bill through parliament on Saturday night without thought for Māori representation on the Super Council.

GLEN MACKAY: Māori Responsiveness Strategy Advisor to the New Zealand Police, talks with Dale this week about the superb logistics job and co-ordination done by the Police during the Hikoi yesterday through the many Auckland Streets.
But on a personal level Glen said he agreed with the Whanau on the hikoi.
