MAYOR BOB HARVEY: Waitakere Mayor talks with Dale about his public stance to make "Matariki" a public holiday. He says this would fit comfortably as a winter holiday well separated from other public holidays.

BRENDON PONGIA: Former Tall Black, current Television Presenter, is helping to raise funds for three Wellington-based brothers, who are outstanding sports players in both basketball and rugby, whose family are finding it extremely difficult to meet their high sporting expenses.

HON. PHIL GOFF: MP, Leader of the Labour Party. Today Phil and Dale talk about "Matariki" and Bob Harvey's' concept to have a public holiday to celebrate it, using shipping containers as prison cells due to the lack of prison facilities, the Waikato River clean-up and management as negotiated by the Tainui Iwi and finally, the upcoming smacking referendum.

MELS BARTON: spokeswomen for GAG, Grassroots Action Group, talks with Dale about GAG going to Waitakere City Council Chambers tomorrow evening, to protest over the Waitakere City's Submission for the Auckland Super City, not including Māori representation or Seats.
Mels is encouraging supporters to join them and show Councillors that voters are not happy with it's submission.

GLEN MACKAY and TUTERE RANGIHATA: Māori Responsiveness Strategy Advisor to the New Zealand Police in the Auckland City. Glen introduces Tutere Rangihata who is with Te Wananga O Aotearoa, the University of New Zealand. Tutere talks about how the University is running courses to train potential Police Trainees opposite the Mangere Town Centre, South Auckland.
