Hone Harawira Māori Party MP for Taitokerau, talks with Willie about the "Foreshore and Seabed" legislation repeal. Hone also talks about looking around for a new Māori Flag design.

Georgina Te Heuheu: MP National Party and Associate Minister for Māori Affairs. Willie talks with Georgina about the Central North Island "Tree Lords" deal and what it means for all the Tribes involved.

Rawiri Te Whare: Chief Negotiator for the CNI "Tree Lords" Claim with the biggest Treaty Settlement in history with more than 280 million dollars in cash and a 176,ooo hectares of Land in the Central North Island. This settlement is divided between Eleven Tribes. This process started in 2002 and involved ownership of the Kaiangaroa Forest reverting back to Māori along with the accumulated rentals.
One problem was getting all the Iwi involved to reach a level of unity and cohesion and form a Collective and then they needed the Crown to surrender the Forest and rentals.

Matt McCarten: Political Analyst and Commentator talks with Willie about the CNI Tree Lords Deal, Winston Peters' reaction in the weekend against the Foreshore and Seabed legislation repeal and calling Māori "Separatists" and telling John Key not to give in to them. Willie says it's "vintage Winston". They also comment on Winston talking about Māori representation on the Auckland Super City.

Roger Pikia & Dale Husband: Strategist with Te Ahuwhenua, AgResearch working with the Māori farming pastoral sector to help make pastures healthier.
Pre recorded from Dale's Newsmakers programme where Dale talks with Roger about Land Ownership issues for the Central North Island, Crown Forests Lands such as the Kaiangaroa Estate that has ownership disputes for about twenty years. The government has been unable up to now, to get Iwi around the table for discussions. There are about eleven Iwi involved with the Central North Island Forests ownerships and they are determined to achieve a settlement but it is very difficult to get consensus.
