0700 NEWS NZ FIRST - Five weeks out from polling day and only days after releasing its illegible list, New Zealand First is looking for new candidates for Wellington Central and Ohariu-Belmont. Justice and Cultural Affairs spokesperson David Stephenson and media advisor Rex Widerstom have quit, citing dissatisfaction with the direction of the party and too much influence on the party by advisor Michael Laws. 0730 NEWS/WEATHER/SPORTS HEALTH - Auckland's Greenlane Hospital is concerned about its future, because of competition from private hospitals. Health minister Jenny Shipley yesterday illegible another 120 heart operations for the region, but they will be divided between Greenlane, two private hospitals and one in Wellington.
