The Sheriff of White Dam. That's what they call Bill McDougal. He's an extraordinary man, living in a tiny opal-mining settlement that doesn't even have a store. But it does have a pub - Bill's own, a crazy little shack where drinks are free, and you can have anything you like ... so long as it's plonk.
