Larry Williams, 2000-

Larry Williams is broadcast Monday-Friday, 17:00-18:00, on Newstalk ZB, excluding national public holidays. It features interviews with the newsmakers of the day, as well as regular contributors such as the Newstalk ZB political editor and business commentators. It includes the 5pm news bulletin and sports news, and has been a regular recording since 2000. Since the beginning of 2006, this hour-long programme excerpt has alternated every second month with other non-Radio New Zealand radio stations. This was a recommendation of the Advisory Panel on Selection as a way to capture other radio personalities.
