Elke Sommer (identified by caption) direcs the hanging of paintings in an art gallery. She is shown a self-portrait as her voiceover begins: “I’m often asked if I’m an artist who paints or a painter who acts. To me, both are so natural. When I’m asked why I use Lux that seems natural too.“ The scene dissolves to the gallery opening with Elke gliding confidentially through the crowd. The word ‘LUX’ grows onscreen and brings a change of scene to a display of the soap. Elke is seen lathering her neck and shoulders. Elke steps out from the gallery crowd to confide to the camera: “Oh, I know there’s more to skin care than using Lux, but, for me, there’s no better start.”
