NZBC NEWS; THE WAY WE WERE ARCHIVE - INQUIRY INTO MAORI LAND RIGHTS

A new Commission of Inquiry began it's sittings in Wellington. Its job is to study the Administration and Laws relating to Maori reserved land, and to recommend any changes it thinks necessary. It will be sitting in 13 towns throughout the country in the next six months.
