A documentary series exploring the natural history of the South Pacific. The Poor Knights are a group of islands where wetas and giant land snails still browse, where shore crabs and large poisonous centipedes stalk the forest floor after dark. They're also home to a large variety of lizards which pollinate the flowers and distribute the seeds of the forest. All these animals once lived on the New Zealand mainland but they would never survive there today.
