A road safety film set in Wellington. An atmosphere of gloom is introduced with discussion of 'impersonal' computers - punch cards, numbers, statistics.

Computers are set in contrast to the human protagonists - Andrew, a young successful businessman, and Judy, a young, attractive, blond, hairdresser.

While driving home from outing in the harbour (Scorching Bay), Judy tries to overtake Andrew's car. He speeds up, causing Judy's open-top car to career down a bank.
All the things not to do to become a statistic.
