General Description:
Game is played in fine weather before a crowd of 28,000. Otago are led onto the field first followed by SA.
Otago kick off and Trevathan ( Otago) kicks an early drop goal. Babrow then scores a try for SA followed by a fine long range try to Turner ( SA). Otago are then totally outclassed with South Africa scoring a further 5 tries three of which are shown in the footage. Footage also shows crowd shots of the ‘unofficial Caledonian Stand’.
SA led 13 - 7 at half time and the final score was SA 47 - Otago 7.
This was the biggest victory of the tour for the South African team.
