Duke of York outside gate as he is welcomed onto grounds by military officers. Standing with officers. Shaking hands of guard. With the Duchess beside car. Getting in car (sign on house for Orient Line).
“Cheers by the wayside.” The motorcade departs to a sea of waving flags (people are standing beneath a banner on a building for ‘Piano County’). d
“’They fought for England too’ conversing with ex-service men.” Shaking hands with a group of veterans (including two women)on a field.
“The Girl Guides greet Her Royal Highness in characteristic fashion.”
“The enthusiastic welcome at Steele Park.” The couple are seated on a makeshift stage. Gong down stairs and geting in their car.
“A Royal visit of inspection to one of New Zealand’s largest butter factories.”
Inside the factory and the Duchess walking outside through large congregation.
“even the Royal Train needs a drink.” Filing locomotive with water. Four men sitting on the front of the train displaying royal insignia.
“Waikato’s farewell finds a cheering echo in Rotorua’s welcome.” Royals seated at welcome at railway station.

“Stratford’s golden hour.” Exiting train. Walking beside large crowd behind barricades at station.
“At Hawera.” Being seated on stage with dignitaries.
