Peter Hayden joins a Dutch ship “Waterproef “ voyaging to the high Arctic. Examining the familiar and unfamiliar wildlife en route, he visits the Islands of Rona, the Faeroes and Iceland. Dr David Bellamy joins the ship for the final part of the voyage to the island of Jan Mayen and Svalbard/Spitzbergen.
