Intertitles: “Broadway.” Street scene with trams and cars driving down Broadway.

“Busy scenes at Williamson’s.” People walking into a shop with the signage ‘J. Williamson - Manufacturer and Importer’. A customer selects a pair of shoes from the proprietor.

“The workshop. Here we see the various processes.” Workers at various machines creating shoes.

“Mr Evans directs.” J.P. Evans, joiner and builder inspects the construction of a new house. The plans of the house are perused.

“Hall. Corbett. Land Agents Newmarket.” Prospective buyers look at the house from the street and travel to the land agents only to return to the house for an inspection of its interior and grounds. They agree to buy it.

“They furnish at Ellisons.” Exterior and interior of furniture shop. Furniture movers place a large wardrobe on the back of a truck.

“Remuera School.” Generally barefoot children exit the front doors of the school and congregate about the camera in the playground.

“After picking the cloth.” “The suit is then cut out and sent to the workroom.” The tailor measures and cuts the material and a group of workers at various tasks in the workroom. “Then comes the first fitting.” “The suit is now finished and all are satisfied.” The man models the suit.

Various customers place there prescription with the the assistant. “The Dispensary” Chemist and helpers at work in the dispensary making up medicine. “Eye Testing.” A young man reads from an eye chart and has a monocle fitted.

“The Auckland Milk Co. Ltd.” Panning shot of small dairy holding on a [Tamaki] hillside. “The milk is carried by motor to the factory.” Truck arrives at the factory and is loaded onto the dock. “The milk is weighed and and the cans sterilised.” “And then.” The milk is delivered to a house. Shot of the Union Jack.
