Shining brightly for a few short years, Ray Columbus and the Invaders ruled the music charts in both New Zealand and Australia. One of their biggest hits, “Till We Kissed” was inspired by the style of the Righteous Brothers. This recording captures the style of many early music videos – filmed in a studio with the band performing direct to camera. They were the first New Zealand act to have a No. 1 single overseas (in Australia).
