Sale of Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision’s Wellington Property

Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision has sold its Wellington building located at 84 Taranaki Street. Under the terms of the Sale and Purchase Agreement Ngā Taonga is leasing back the building.

Ngā Taonga Chief Executive, Rebecca Elvy says “We did not have the property on the market, however over the space of 12 months we received three separate offers from three separate potential buyers. When we received this offer we were confident, given that the Board had a long-term property strategy in place, that this sale gave us the ability to focus on making accommodation decisions that are best for the precious taonga in our collection, and our employees – something we’re very excited about.”
