“HAUNTING DOUGLAS is a documentary about New Zealand’s renowned choreographer, dancer, filmmaker and artist Douglas Wright. It is an insight into Wright’s work and mind. Drug addiction, illness, applause and accolades have all been part of his journey, themes which have been explored on stage and in front of audiences around the world. Travelling to New York and London where he learned so much about his craft, one of Douglas’s mentors Paul Taylor recounts the early days. The dancers who helped bring his vision to life also discuss Douglas’s creative process. His work is challenging, provocative and encompasses the brilliance that is so evident in the man himself.” (TVNZ Publicity)
